Choice

It is interesting to observe human nature. Since time immemorial has this creature stood out against all odds, performed great feats, built civilizations and advanced with the sands of time. But even this gifted soul of nature makes mistakes and will continue to do so in the years to come, for that is human nature. But the question is not about making mistakes but learning from them.

Today we are witnessing the visible effects of accelerated climate change in the Arctic and other sensitive ecosystems due to human intervention and exploitation. Even though science remains quite clear on the issue, what follows is a baseless attempt to undermine what most probably is in store at our present pace.

We the youth rise to help spread the message to the masses and help them understand the damaging consequences of our actions. We stand united, patiently waiting for an answer to this question from our leaders who in their attempts to delay action blindly approach a dead end. The time has come to make a choice, a choice between struggle and an attempt for a better future. And as each second ticks away, we watch you pave a future for us and the generations to come.
