Unseen Beauty

Being here in the Arctic feels like you have jumped into a painting, making you a part of a gorgeous creation that only a few get to see. During our Cape Farewell expedition, we have had the chance to step into this painting, where we get to hike, explore, learn and most important of all, feel. The sense of size gets diminished due to the giant mountains surrounding the ship. I often find myself getting closer and closer to a glacier but seem to never reach it. What I like about this is the greater chance to appreciate the little things that surround us, giving them a bigger importance and identity.

Being part of this painting allows me to show it to others who have not seen it yet. Although they have not felt what I have, they will use the images to make their own conclusions. You see it, you believe it! This will make people realize what a true beauty our mother Earth is and hopefully put their best interest foreword to keep it that way.
